Nagas Sticks

Naga are snake-spirits of water, which appear sometimes as snakes, sometimes as semi-humans with snake tails, and quite often as humans. The Naga comprise an entire nation or perhaps several nations. Their principal capital was Bhogavati, an under-ground city in the high mountains, but they appear to have had other underground cities as well throughout the Shadowlands. The cities are all of great splendor magnificently ornamented with precious stones. The Naga are very fond of jewelry and may steal it from humans. The Naga also often raided villages, stole the young, and then disappeared back into the waters with them. It was said they offered up these stolen children to some great serpent deity.
Nagas have potent supernatural powers, including the ability to make themselves beings invisible in the water, hypnotize their foes and produce venom. The Nagas’ power grew greatly over the ages as their serpent god gained might they began to rival the sprites for control of the Elemental Plane of Water. The Mother of Waters rallied her people and hand in hand used their birthright in unison, a unison never reached before or after. Together, the sprites wove a massive soul-hex that drew all the Naga, their cities, and snake temple into the Nexus of Water and then sealed them into the Abyss. For ages, the Naga languished there but found freedom when the Nexus of Water was turn asunder. Now the sprites hated foes have returned. Along with the Naga have come their treasures, the Snake Staves. These staves act in the same manner as goblin rune-sticks. The level of their power is equal to the color of the snake on the staff: red snakes are level one, orange are level two, green are level three, blue are level four and black are level five magics.
