The Rune of Adaoman

The Lord of Earth stands on the Far Hill at the foundation of his new holy ground. Gaining in strength, Adaoman calls out is lost brother-lords: Torch who lost his Mantle of Fire, Furlich who never donned the Mantle of Water, and Yanti whose Mantle of Air vanished with him. The Earth Lord senses that Torch still endures as the deity called Surtur, the Spirit God of Fiery Redemption. He also senses that Furlich’s spirit no longer languishes in death and is no longer confined to the distant Crossroads where he dwelled for long time as the Old Man. The Wily One is here somewhere in Fallenstar, but Adaoman cannot pinpoint Furlich's mercurial spirit. Concentrating on Yanti brings the same result, as it always has… nothing. Yanti's disincorporated form had always confounded the Earth Lord's senses to some extent. For Adaoman's providence was earth and thus the body, but Yanti no longer possessed a body; he was simply a mass of wind. Back in the Age of Elements, Adaoman had been able to sense, if not his physical form, his brother-lord's elemental presence to some extent. But then a few centuries ago, Yanti completely vanished into thin air. Since that time, Adaoman has never been able to find any trace of Yanti; it was if he never existed.
Now as the Lord of Earth's senses move through the soil, sand and stone, he feels Yanti moving across the ground, over roads, through the stonewalls and across the rocks. A small portion of Yanti is circling in the breeze. Use the Winds of Change that are blowing. The Winds of Change are a part of Yanti's actual being. Adaoman gazes into the sky and over the fields. He watches the wind move across the swaying sea of and in the fluttering leaves of the trees and looking deeper he sees the secret winds hidden within, the Winds of Change. In his divine, elemental eyes, Adaoman begins to understand these arcane winds. The Winds of Change are a direct current from the uncharted Nexus of Air. Almost nothing is known about this nexus. Like all elemental junctions, it is the hub to myriad aerial planes like the Elemental Plane of Air and the Elemental Hell of Air, the Vortex. Adaoman sees that the Winds of Change have permeated the area around Fallenstar with magics, treasures and creatures from the Nexus of Air, but the slipstream of this current has targeted a specific spell in the Shadowlands. The winds are being targeted to erode the strength of potent dark-wind hex, the Danse Macabre. The Danse Macabre has played repeatedly over the decades. Mechella is used the Danse to fuel the Eclipse and lull Allahn and others into a preternatural sleep. The roar of the Winds of Change has been centered on Candlewood to drown out the hypnotic lullaby of the Danse Macabre and dissipate the growing clouds of shadow in order to give the Rekindler a chance to awaken the slumbering Candlelord.
Adaoman knows that air magics are the antithesis of his earthen powers and there is nothing he can do to amplify Yanti's Winds of Change, but the Earth Lord believes that through the gifts of his nascent holy ground he can aid those that would undo the Danse Macabre. The Lord of Earth offers you the power of Rune Stones here to aid those who would face the Danse Macabre.
